Our team is committed to safeguarding all patients. Safeguarding matters will be managed appropriately, and where legally required, identifiable information may be shared to ensure someone’s safety. Safeguarding principles will apply to all contacts- by phone, in person appointments and video consultations. All staff have a responsibility to comply with statutory requirements. Safeguarding principles apply to all, irrespective of background, age, gender, religious beliefs, racial origin or ethnic identity, culture, class, disability or sexual orientation. We are committed to working with other agencies to ensure risk of harm is reduced.
Everyone has the right to live in safety, free from abuse and neglect. Abuse, neglect, or bullying can affect anyone. If a patient feels unsafe or is concerned about someone else, who is registered with the surgery, please get in touch with our team. If you feel that someone is at imminent risk, please contact the police on 999 in an emergency. If the person is not in immediate danger, call 101.
