askFIRST: Help from the NHS, anytime, anywhere.
askFIRST is a free app and is available on the App Store (Apple devices) or Google Play (Android devices). It can also be accessed as a web based link: https://www.sensely.com/askfirst/. Available anytime, anywhere; the digital healthcare professional guides you through a symptom checker and then recommend the most appropriate care. This might be self-care advice via www.nhs.uk, a call back appointment from your GP practice or you may be directed onto an alternative service such as urgent or emergency care.
askFIRST is connected to the GP practice so you can also use askFIRST to send information directly to us at Riverside Surgery e.g. updating your contact details, request medication or request a sick/fit note.
askFIRST has been developed by leading IT company, Sensely, with input and feedback from local GPs and Buckinghamshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG).
