Carers

Are you caring for someone at home?

We would like to know if you are looking after someone on a regular basis who could not manage without you. Carers Bucks and Riverside Surgery have developed a protocol to help you to get the services and support you need. This should result in an improved quality of life for you and the person you are caring for.

The Carers Bucks staff are all highly experienced and can help you by providing advice and information, advocacy, practical support and a listening ear. Carers Bucks provides emotional support to all ages and groups in society, including Young Carers (aged 5 to 18) the Black and Minority Ethnic community in five languages and cultures, and those looking after someone with mental illness including depression.

If you need help ask for a referral when you are next in the surgery. Alternatively you can telephone Carers Bucks direct on 0300 7772822, visit the Carers Bucks website, or for more information about help with day-to-day living because of illness or disability visit the NHS website.
